Nicadaemus Queens |
|
| Our girls are much loved members of the family. They are house cats but have access to a secure garden, although they are most often to be found snoozing in a patch of sunlight in the conservatory. One of our main pleasures is showing them and our queens have done us proud over the years with generations of girls following in the pawsteps of their mothers. Their kittens are born and raised underfoot, so that they are used to household noises and are well handled and socialized. Our current queens are: |

| Lady is our beautiful Blue girl. She is very loving and affectionate which is a trait that she passes onto her kittens. She loves to be with you and taking part in whatever you are doing. Lady started her kitten show career rather late and was only able to get out a handful of times. However, she won 3 Open Firsts and 2 Best of Breeds along with 7 Misc. Firsts as an kitten. She started adult classes in April 2009 winning two Challenge Certificates in quick succession, then after almost a year off the show-bench to raise a litter of kittens Lady returned and won her third and final Challenge Certificate, which made her up to a Champion. |

We are proud to introduce TQ, she was born on the 40th Anniversary of the first Lunar Landing, hence her name. This pretty Seal Tortie Point is the first daughter of our very own Blue Point boy Raasay (see Boys page). TQ had a sparkling kitten show career and, just like her sire, was unbeaten in all her Open classes. In all she won 8 Open Firsts and 4 Best of Breeds along with 12 Misc. Firsts as an kitten. She is now taking a break from the show bench. |

| Libby is the first Chocolate Point we have bred after several years of trying to produce this colour. This cheeky but friendly little madam will eventually take over from her Mum but until then she is too busy enjoying life. Libby has started showing as an kitten. Her diary so far: Seal & Blue Birman: Open First and Best of Breed. |

Milly is our stunning Blue Point baby girl. She is quiet and gentle and will come and sit by us as we type on the computer. She enjoys playing and carries her soft toys around in her mouth. Milly has now started her show career and has won her first Open class. |

| Ruby is our gorgeous Red girl who joined our family when we were planning to expand our range of colours to include Red, Cream and Tortie Points. Ruby helped us with the new venture and one of our Tortie girls is her Daughter and our eldest Red boy is her Grandson. Ruby was only shown four times as a kitten but she won 3 Open Firsts, 1 Best of Breed and 2 Misc Firsts. When she started adult classes she quickly won three Challenge Certificates and was made up to Champion. After a long spell off the show bench have kittens, Ruby returned, this time chasing her Grand Champion title. She gained her first Grand Certificate at the Supreme Cat show and a Reserve Grand Certificate at the Maidstone & Medway show. She needs two more Grand Certificates to get the title. |

Elise, our ‘Naughty-Tortie’ loves getting up to lots of mischief. Her hobbies include escapology and she keeps us on our toes. One of the most memorable occasions was when she discovered that she could jump onto the roof of Raasay's House from the kitchen windowsill. The others quickly caught on and soon she was leading a delighted group of escapees over the neighbour's fence. Elise was very lightly shown as a kitten but she won 4 Open Firsts, 2 Best of Breeds and 2 Misc Firsts. Elise's first outing as an adult was at a TICA show. Elise won 3 Best of Colours, 1 Best of Divison, and 1 final where she was judged 7th Best Cat which means she is now a TICA Champion. Midland Counties: Open First, Best of Breed and her first Challenge Certificate. |

We welcome Lucy to our household. Lucy is a Tabby Point, she is friendly, outgoing and full of fun. She has joined our family to help introduce the Tabby colouring on a more permanent basis. Lucy has started her show career as a kitten and had a Red Card Day at her very first show! |
